About Me

Bella Cranmore

BCOM HONS DIP. CONS MBACP UKCP REG

I help people tell better stories about themselves and the world around them.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, a Full Clinical Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and work within their ethical framework for good practice.

I invest and engage in regular high-quality supervision and am covered by professional liability insurance.

I bring a solid understanding of the professional and business world, combined with a rigorous training as a psychotherapeutic counsellor.

This places me in a good position to understand the joys and challenges of professional life and work, and to support people working in the corporate world.

COUNSELLING & THERAPEUTIC EXPERIENCE

I am committed to ongoing training and development.

I trained at Re-Vision which encourages a soulful perspective on counselling and psychotherapy. This highly respected training, draws on psychodynamic, creative, Gestalt, body centred and psychodynamic approaches as well as the work of James Hillman and Carl Jung.

I work at Brighton Therapy Partnership and regularly write for the BTP blog, about a range of topics such as anxiety, race-based trauma, mindfulness, Polyvagal theory, body dysmorphia and disordered eating.

At the Counselling Service at the Psychosynthesis Trust in London, I have worked with client issues including anxiety and depression, motherhood and parenting, being sent away to boarding school,  dysfunctional families and upbringing, finding meaning and purpose, relationship difficulties, suicide ideation, self-harm, transitional space, autoimmune disease and menopause.

My journey with counselling training began in 2010 when training as an Interfaith Minister. I am committed to ongoing training and development, and have also undertaken training in Inner Relationship Focusing, Contemplative Meditation, working with the Enneagram and working with Boarding School Survivors. Full details can be found on my Training & Qualifications page.
