And somewhere along the way, life wrote a different story:
The family that didn’t arrive. The diagnosis. The accident. The redundancy. The childhood that shouldn’t have happened the way it did. The person you love becoming someone you care for. The partner who stopped reaching for your hand. The marriage that looks fine from the outside. The midlife morning you woke and didn’t recognise your own life.

This is quiet, honest, sometimes demanding work. It suits adults in established lives who are ready to look clearly at what has been lost, and curious, even faintly, about what might still be made. Because underneath the loss, there is still a Wild and Precious Life, waiting to be lived.
In a world where change is the only constant, it can be useful to have the support of another person to explore the challenges that uncertainty and transition can bring.
This could be the start or end of a new chapter in your life such as a relationship, job, career or dream.
Or unexpected illness, the death of someone close to you, or redundancy. Or an inner voice wondering if there is more to life and whether you are on the right track.
Whether welcome or not, change can be challenging, and the stories you tell yourself will have a big impact on how you respond and ultimately fare.
